The total stay was REALLY COMFORTABLE which was very peaceful and perfect for 2 night. We were moved to an economy studio and had a refrigerator, a safe, and tea and coffee making facilities. It was in a remote setting close to local villages.

I chose this hotel for attending a congregation, and I was pleased to find my name and the house number on the announcement board. The facilities were basic but sufficient, and the surroundings provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere for my stay.
The only service I missed for my work was a reliable internet connection.

We had a fantastic time at this unique accommodation in a beautiful natural setting. the location was perfect, with close proximity to stunning, untouched beaches where we could enjoy the tranquility and solitude. the room was spotless, and we loved the rustic charm and comfortable amenities such as the mattress and pillows. the service was excellent, and we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and helpful staff. the delicious local breakfast served was a must-try. the views from our private terrace were breathtaking, especially during starry nights.
The showerhead could not be attached overhead, but it was still functional.

The rustic and simple accommodation at this hidden gem blew us away. The picturesque rural setting provided jaw-dropping scenery and a sense of seclusion. The 300-year-old complex oozed old world charm and instantly put us in relaxation mode. The rooms were light, airy, and provided all the basics we needed. The staff were lovely and helpful, giving us plenty of information about the local town. We are already planning our return visit to this mind-blowing place. The drive to the property was an adventure, but totally worth it in the end.

The place is so isolated and peaceful, but you can be in the heart of Makris Gialos in just a few minutes with a car. I loved the aesthetics and how the place is designed and built, the colors, the hidden patios. Last but not least, Ellie was a delight, always at our disposal, taking care of us and everything else. We will definitely visit it again!
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

• Loved the simplicity and elegance of the property, it was a perfect place for relaxation. • The staff was very friendly and accommodating. • The breakfast was very good with a lot of interesting options. • The hotel is located in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The rooms were quite dark and lacked proper lighting, which made it feel gloomy on rainy days. The layout of the complex was not very favorable, with some rooms having no view or overlooking the parking lot.

The value for money at Aspros Potamos was incredible! The rooms were cozy and beautifully decorated with a Cretan touch. The location was stunning, close to the gorge and the beach, and the staff, especially Mytro and Vicky, were extremely helpful and friendly. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the south of Crete!
The food for breakfast could be improved with more variety.

Our recent stay at Aspros Potamos was truly unforgettable. The unique low-tech experience provided a refreshing change from our daily digital lives. The stunning surroundings of Pefki Gorge offered breathtaking views and a sense of seclusion. Despite the lack of contemporary standards in the rooms, the staff ensured our comfort by providing LED reading lamps and modern toilets. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful beaches and nearby attractions of the East of Crete. The peaceful atmosphere and friendly staff made our stay exceptionally enjoyable. we highly recommend this special place for a truly one-of-a-kind experience.
